From the Pass

Service begins

Feast is fine-dining photography for people who cook at home. The rule here is closeness. Not a styled table with props — the plate itself, lit the way a restaurant photographer lights it: salmon with charred asparagus, cocoa in near-darkness, a steak shot moody enough to belong in a gallery. Coffee and hot chocolate get the same treatment, because a good cup deserves it. Dark, warm images do something specific to a kitchen. They make it feel like a place where cooking is taken seriously, even on a night when it is toast. Prints hang best in a row of three above a counter or beside a dining table. A few frames also run as phone cases. Everything is printed to order. Three below to open the pass: salmon, cocoa, and something hot in a mug.
